Goodbye, Blog Beast

January 2012

Dear Reader,

After three years of publishing to the web, The Blog Beast died as 2011 rolled out.

I thank you heartily for all your support, (vocal or silent), your contributions and conversations.  Many of you have been long-term readers who have demonstrated a loyalty that frankly has been deeply encouraging.  Some of you have served as playful spirits, giving me the rich and important gift of levity.  A few others of you have skillfully wielded incisive arrows, for which I am also grateful.

I won’t go into all the reasons why I am ceasing blogging for now – they are mostly uninteresting.  My only hint is that meditation* does extraordinary things, I cannot recommend it enough, and I cannot promise what will come next.  *As van gogh says so well, pining for god is like leaven to dough.

I may return to blogging, I may not.  I may start a circus, I may not.

To find out what project is coming next you can join The First Knowers List.  I also intend to continue online-speaking via Twitter.

Thank you again!  I send you my well wishes and love…

Amy
